When a new application has been approved and you are ready to invite this person to create an account, you need to trigger the correct welcome email. To send this invitation you need to go to their Person Record and update their Member Status.

To access their Member Status, search for their Person Record (CRM > People) and click on their email address in the search results. Once you have their record open, click on the 'Options' dropdown in the Information pane and choose 'Edit person details'.

 

 

Scroll down the list of options that appear until you reach a section labelled 'Member Status'. New members should NOT have any "approved" statuses already checked. To trigger the correct account creation email to be sent, check the relevant membership approval checkbox and then click SAVE (see below for a list of checkboxes and which emails they trigger).
